Our Focus
We are honoured to contribute to organizations doing meaningful work in Nelson, the Kootenays, and beyond. While each group serves in its own way, our giving is centred in three areas that matter deeply to us: housing and stability, food and connection, and
safety.
Housing and Stability
As home builders, we see every day how much a safe and stable home shapes a person’s life. Home influences health, peace of mind, safety, and the ability to move forward with confidence. That is one reason housing related initiatives matter so much to us.
Canadian Centre for Men and Families
The Canadian Centre for Men and Families is a Canada wide charity that helps boys, men, fathers, and families facing mental health, relationship, financial, and life challenges. Their programs help fill important gaps and offer care that can be hard to access. They also run shelters for families, boys, and men fleeing abusive or dangerous situations. In addition to
their direct services, they offer a wide range of online support, programs, and educational resources that help people navigate difficult circumstances and move toward greater stability.
We value what they provide because healthier families begin with people getting the help they need during difficult times. As builders, we understand how deeply safety and shelter affect a person’s well being. That is one reason this organization resonates with us.
Nelson CARES Society
Nelson CARES Society strengthens the region through housing, advocacy, social programs, employment services, and environmental initiatives. Their reach is broad, practical, and deeply felt across the community. We value their long term commitment to helping people create more stable futures.
Because we build homes, we know how important housing is to a person’s sense of security and possibility. Contributing to Nelson CARES is one way we stand behind that

Our Daily Bread Nelson
Our Daily Bread Nelson provides nutritious meals, practical help, and a welcoming place for people who need it. Their efforts help reduce hunger while also offering care and human connection.

Nelson Community Food Centre
The Nelson Community Food Centre helps people access healthy food, learn new skills, and take part in a caring environment. Their programs go beyond food alone. They foster connection, confidence, and long-term well-being.

Safety and Emergency Care
A healthy community also depends on people being there when urgent help is needed most.
Kootenay Emergency Response Physicians Association
KERPA brings highly trained emergency physicians to critical 911 calls in Nelson, Castlegar, and the surrounding area. Their doctors provide advanced medical care at the scene when every minute counts.
We are proud to contribute to an organization that plays such a vital role in regional safety. Their skill, speed, and dedication help save lives in some of the most serious emergencies people can face.
